WHAT CAME NEXT: SUPERHERO CAPES

Our next big dose of love came in the form of creating 414 superhero capes over the course of a week for all the children at The Children’s Hospital Aurora which were delivered on the anniversary of Sarah’s first surgery there.

Fulling embracing the line from Tim McGraw: “when you get where you are going, turn around and help the next one in line,” our small group of 4 set out to pass out our capes to all the kiddos finding themselves in the hospital that night. The magic was felt by all of us as we saw these little warriors come to life, knowing no matter what they were battling they were incredible superheroes. All they needed was their capes!

NOTE: To our knowledge, we are still the only organization to deliver handmade superhero capes to the entire hospital.
